Eine "single mom" in Texas hat weder Geld noch Zeit für eine Pistole (handgun) oder gar für ein Responder Training. Jede Person, die mal unter ein wenig Stress mit einer Pistole geschossen hat, ohne dafür trainiert zu sein wird mehr "innocent bystanders" verursachen als Täter aufhalten. Schon gar nicht, wenn der Täter mit einem Gewehr (in den USA sehr wahrscheinlich Halbautomat) unterwegs ist und sich vieleicht noch mit ner schusssicheren Weste vorbereitet hat... was für Ideen haben diese Idioten eigentlich noch? Den Berichten nach hat das Ganze ja mit Polizisten angefangen, "Profis", die zu zweit nicht in der Lage waren den Angreifer zu stoppen (trotz Training und Bewaffnung), die es noch nicht mal geschafft haben, das Lagebild (Wechsel des Wagens durch den Täter) zu kommunizieren... letztendlich hat auch keine "single mom" mit ner Mini Glock den Typen gestoppt, sondern ein massives Polizeiaufgebot. Was soll also das Gelaber von wegen "AK 47s for everyone!"?

Das ist genau das Szenario, das ich da kommen sehe: ein Attentäter muss gar nicht mehr auf die Menschen schießen - das Blutbad besorgen die dann gegenseitig. Das muss man sich mal vorstellen: alle haben ihre heat in der Tasche, es fällt ein Schuss, meinetwegen in die Decke, und alle sehen sich unter extremem Stress anderen bewaffneten Typen gegenüber, die womöglich auch schon angefangen haben, herumzuballern. Und wenn wir das Szenario eskalieren wollen, nehmen wir ein Kino oder ein Theater als Schauplatz, wo im dämmerigen Licht erst einmal keiner genau erkennt, wen er vor sich hat. Nicht auszudenken.
