Wenn man also eine Weile außen vor gewesen ist und erste Orientierung braucht, kann man sich daran entlang hangeln: Die Korruptionsgeschichten der Trumpisten/Republikaner sind ganz offensichtlich massiv.

But underpinning both cases was one political calculation: that Mrs. Clinton would win and Mr. Trump would lose. Agents feared being seen as withholding information or going too easy on her. And they worried that any overt actions against Mr. Trump's campaign would only reinforce his claims that the election was being rigged against him.

The F.B.I. now faces those very criticisms and more. Mr. Trump says he is the victim of a politicized F.B.I. He says senior agents tried to rig the election by declining to prosecute Mrs. Clinton, then drummed up the Russia investigation to undermine his presidency. He has declared that a deeply rooted cabal — including his own appointees — is working against him.

Crossfire Hurricane began exactly 100 days before the presidential election, but if agents were eager to investigate Mr. Trump's campaign, as the president has suggested, the messages do not reveal it. "I cannot believe we are seriously looking at these allegations and the pervasive connections," Mr. Strzok wrote soon after returning from London.

Crossfire Hurricane began with a focus on four campaign officials. But by mid-fall 2016, Mr. Page's inquiry had progressed the furthest. Agents had known Mr. Page for years. Russian spies tried to recruit him in 2013, and he was dismissive when agents warned him about it, a half-dozen current and former officials said.

That warrant has become deeply contentious and is crucial to Republican arguments that intelligence agencies improperly used Democratic research to help justify spying on the Trump campaign. The inspector general is reviewing that claim.

Und hatte schon mehr als einmal mit dem Gesetz in Konflikt geraten, zumal etliche Leute in seiner Kampagne schon vorher kompromittiert waren (Manafort zb. war schon länger Fokus von Untersuchungen und der Mann kam schon unter Nixon in die Bredouille, Flynn wurde vom Obama entlassen weil er kompromittiert war und im Job scheiße gebaut hat und Papadopulus hatte auch schon Konflikte mit dem Gesetz) und der US Präsident steht nun mal nicht über dem Gesetz, also sehe ich da kein Problem daß das FBI gegen einen eventuelle Kompromittierten Präsidenten ermittelt.

Du langweilst. Es war doch wohl die verdammte Pflicht und Schuldigkeit des FBI, einem dringenden Verdacht nachzugehen – dem Verdacht einer heimlichen Zusammenarbeit eines Kandidaten (der vielleicht ein erpresster Agent einer feindlichen Macht ist) mit ausländischen Geheimdiensten, unter Nutzung illegal beschaffter Daten.

Nicht meine Hervorhebung. Welcher der Millionen Angestellten der US-Behörden war denn vor dem 22.01.17 nicht "under President Barack Obama"? Das war nichts als ihre gewissenhafte Pflichtausübung. Sie hat übrigens auch die Trump-Administration über die Verdachtsmomente gegen Flynn unterrichtet, was ein schöner Grund für die gewesen ist, untätig zu bleiben.

Russia-Collusion != irgendwelche Mafia-Gerüchte. 
Du redest von etwas ganz anderem. 

Ist schon klar, dass dir das nicht schmeckt, was die NYT da mit ihrem Crossfier Hurricane Artikel aufgedeckt hat; so wie es das Narrativ "Trump=böse und Agent der Russen" stört. 
Und wir können hier auch live beobachten, wie sich die ganze Story langsam aber sicher zum Boomerang für die Demokraten entwickelt - und das zu den Midterms. 

Im Ernst: Die Demokraten sollten die Story endlich begraben und Mueller auffordern, seine Untersuchung zu beenden.

Sie spielt nur Trump in die Hände, denn jedes mal, wenn irgendetwas aufgedeckt wird und kurz darauf wie eine Blase wieder zusammenbricht, verstärkt sich bei den Wählern der Eindruck, dass das ganze nur politisch motiviert ist; die ganzen haltlosen Anschuldigungen werfen ein schlechtes Licht auf die Anschuldiger und Trump kann sich als Saubermann gerieren.

Was zählt schon ein Schülerleben, wenn man gute Freunde bei der NRA hat.

Trump hatte erst vor wenigen Wochen der Waffenlobby NRA seine Unterstützung zugesichert. "Eure Rechte aus dem zweiten Verfassungszusatz stehen unter Beschuss, aber sie werden niemals unter Beschuss stehen, solange ich Euer Präsident bin", hatte Trump auf der Jahresversammlung der NRA in Dallas erklärt.
