Belegt? Weiß ich nichts von, Dr. Ici Wenn, doch es wurde als sturzsimple Möglichkeit für die Ergebnismessung angeführt. Rossi firmiert ja nicht als Bühnenmagier, also dürfen Erklärungsversuche für den Trick öffentlich diskutiert werden.

ich hatte gehofft, jemand könne bestätigen, dass bei der fusion (später quasi-fusion) der genannten elemente energie verbraucht statt freigesetzt wird.

Das Problem ist, dass der Erfinder Andrea Rossi und auch die Ecat-Vermarkter behaupten gar nicht zu wissen was da in dem Reaktor vor sich gehen soll. Etwas mehr weiß man von der möglichen Energiebilanz der Widom-Larsen Theorie, falls sie funktionieren sollte. Nach heutigem Wissen kann sie nicht real auf der Erde funktionieren auf Grund der nicht ausreichenden Wirkungsquerschnitte.

So weit ich informiert bin, ist das Rossi-Projekt Ecat am Ende. Zuletzt behauptete Rossi auf ein unabhängiges Gutachten zu warten, das letztes Jahr, dann Anfang März 2013 rauskommen sollte. Inzwischen heißt es, daß es Ende März rauskommen soll....

zumindest in deinem link steht auch, dass zu erwarten, wäre, dass auch eine solche reaktion energie verbrauchen würde.
meint nicht ausreichende wirkungsquerschnitte, dass bei uns auf der erde die abstände und abstoßungskräfte der atome zu groß sind?

Kein Problem überzeuge dich selbst:
* Nickel 62 ist das stabilste Element überhaupt: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickel-62
Es sitzt in einem Energieminimum, und egal ob du was dazutust durch fusion oder was abspaltest- Du brauchst immer Energie
* Das häufigste natürliche Nickel ist aber Ni  ist aber Ni 58 (knapp 70 %) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotopes_of_nickel. Wie sieht es nun da aus? Durch Fusion von Ni58 mit einem Proton kommen wir zu Kupfer, und zwar Cu 59. Braucht man die Massendefekte, und klar gibts die im Web:

Ergebnis: Cu 59 hat  8.716 MeV  pro u, Ni 58  deren 8.732 . Nickel 58 ist also stabiler. Du kannst dich also auf den Kopf stellen und mit den füssen strampeln- durch fusion von Ni mit einem Proton wirst du keine Energie gewinnen.

It is a mystery why the examiners compromised the integrity of their research by allowing the inventor to intervene in the experiment. On this basis the Lugano report can hardly be considered as ,,third party independent". Critics believe that Rossi´s magic hands are vital for the success of the experiment and he could have switched samples or salted the ash of the reaction. It could be also conceivable that the analysed fuel was not the same material as the fuel that was put in the reactor.

I am stressing the point because Rossi manipulated samples before when providing ash samples to Prof. Kullander of Uppsala University for elemental analysis.

Prof. Stephan Pomp of Uppsala university, a known critic of his alma mater peers from Uppsala university, and their favourable endorsement in previous papers, made the point ,,it is totally inexplicable to me, how the authors cannot see the most obvious and by far most likely conclusion of the fuel analysis; that they simply have been fooled."[7]
