Wenn man die russischen Verteidiger dort "auf dem falschen Fuß" erwischt hat, dann wäre das vielleicht eine Möglichkeit zum Einbruch in die russischen Linien.

Welche Verteidiger? Die Linien am Ostufer sind einmal durchgespült worden, insbesondere stationären und schweren Systemen wird das nicht gutgetan haben. Das größte Problem einer solchen Offensive ist die Logistik, das haben die russen schon gelernt. Dazu müsste die Ukraine dort Lufthoheit gewinnen und artilleristische Überlegenheit, um eigene Fähren (gibts überhaupt noch welche?) und Brücken zu schützen...

General Sergej "Armageddon" Surowikin soll wegen mutmaßlicher Verwicklung in Prigoschins Putsch festgenommen worden sein. Der Ukraine kann es nur Recht sein, dass einer der wenigen fähigen russischen Generale zukünftig keine Rolle mehr spielen wird.

Die Nachrichten sind widersprüchlich. Woanders habe ich nicht gelesen, dass Surowikin wieder freigelassen worden sei. Hier noch ein paar weiter Einschätzungen.

Am Rätselraten beteilige ich mich lieber nicht (mehr).

Was auch immer in den nächsten Monaten in Russland passiert, eine Rückkehr zu halbwegs
normalen Verhältnissen kann ich mir mit keinem der dort derzeit in Machtnähe befindlichen
Personenkreise vorstellen. Egal, ob sich Putin behaupten kann, oder aus dem Fenster fällt,
Russland ist am A*sch.
Meine Hoffnung besteht darin, dass sich Russland möglichst lange und intensiv mit sich selbst
beschäftigen muss. Dann hat die Ukraine eine realisitische Chance auf eine Befreiung.
