Multiple media sources have now confirmed that American academic Stefan Halper is the "top secret" informant the FBI asked to sidle up to Trump campaign officials in 2016. Some questions follow: Who asked Mr. Halper to keep tabs on the Trump officials, and when and why?

Perhaps all of this is a crazy coincidence, but House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes is right to investigate. President Trump on Monday tasked Chief of Staff John Kelly with ensuring that Justice Department officials let congressional leaders review "classified and other information they have requested." There's no excuse for refusing to cooperate.

Senate probes FBI's decision to brief Trump about 'Steele Dossier'
FBI knew briefing was 'trigger' for media to report unverified claims

The FBI was aware CNN was looking for a reason to publish information about the so-called "Steele Dossier" just before then-Director James Comey briefed President-elect Trump in early 2017, according to a Senate investigative committee.

That January briefing was done at the urging of then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and CNN soon published a story once it knew the president had been briefed on the salacious and largely unverified dossier, Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson said in a letter to the FBI this week.

The draft standards, the state's first update in 15 years, no longer includes some mentions of "evolution" or the word "evolve," and edits wording in places to refer to it as a "theory."

One line replaces "evolution" with "biological diversity," while another adds the words "are believed to" to describe the impact of evolution, according to The Arizona Republic.

Ist ja interessant, wir haben den ehmaligen Chef von Blackwater, eine ominösen Truppe von Söldnern, die damals für Schlagzeilen gesorgt hat, weil die damals im Iraq für etliche zivil tote gesorgt haben und wohl auch ansonsten regeln und Gesetze brach, wo es nur ging.

Auch interessant ist die Ausage von Nader, das die saudis doch gerne Trump als Präsidenten hätten. Wenn man bedenkt, das seit dem Trump Präsident ist, er und sein shon sich mit Saudi deals bereichern, macht das schon alles sinn. Auch interessant ist, das dort ein Experte war, der die Sozialen Medien manipulieren wollte. Ob der mit Cambridge Anayltica was zu tun hat?

Also genau das was die Russen und Cambridge Analytica später ja wohl auch gemacht haben.  Der Artikel fährt dann fort mit Details zu der PSY Group, und damit, das Trump jr. wohl die Sache richtig toll fand:

Ach so, den Iran auch mal gleich destabilisieren, ob da der ausstieg aus dem Iran Deal auch dazugehört? So wie es mit scheint, wollen die Saudis, das die USA für sie Iran aus dem weg räumen, damit sie dann die lokale macht sind, da macht es dann schon sinn so Leute wie Bolton ins Außenministerium zu setzen, da wird Krieg dann halt leichter.

Damit erhärtet sich auch der Verdacht, das nicht nur Rußland versucht hat, die Wahlen zugunsten von Donald Trump zu manipulieren. Der Anwalt von Trump sagt zwar, das er sowas abgelehnt hätte, aber nicht, das es das Treffen nicht gegeben hat. Ich denke, das könnte noch alles sehr interessant werden, den Nader hat Zamel mit 2 Millionen Dollar bezahlt, nachdem Trump Präsident geworden ist. Mueller wird sich diese Sache auf jedenfalls genauer anschauen.

Aber Schurz beiseite, die echte Story ist klar wie Kloßbrühe: die paar am wenigsten Hirnverbrannten im engeren Kreis haben dem Grump in letzter Minute klarmachen können, dass er die Sache nur würde versaubeuteln können, wenn er sich mit dem so cleveren wie verschlagenen kleinen Dicken zusammensetzt. Also bläst man die Sache lieber ab und kramt ein paar Ausreden zusammen. Frau Sanders, das freundliche Gesicht der Grump-Adminstration, wird's schon auf ihr breites Kreuz nehmen und ohne Gelegenheit zur Widerrede herunterleiern, ganz wie gehabt.

Aber die Fähigkeit, vom Tisch aufzustehen und die Verhandlung zu verlassen, gehört zu den Grundprinzipien der Verhandlung. 
Und jetzt muss der kleine Dicke kommen. Und falls nicht, dann hat Trump das Meeting zu Recht gecancelt. 

Wir werden noch mehr solcher Momente erleben, wo es so aussieht, dass die Gespräche scheitern. Das werden harte Verhandlungen, und das hier war erst der Auftakt.

Nordkorea hat wohl andere Vorstellungen, was Denuklearisierung heißt, das die USA. Die müssen wohl noch etwas mehr eingenordet werden.

Vor allem wurde mehr und mehr deutlich, dass es offenbar völlig unterschiedliche Vorstellungen darüber gibt, was in Singapur eigentlich erreicht werden sollte. Die Amerikaner erwarteten die "unumkehrbare, nachprüfbare und vollständige" Aufgabe des nordkoreanischen Atomprogramms. Unterhändler der US-Seite erhielten von ihren nordkoreanischen Gesprächspartnern in den vergangenen Tagen jedoch keinerlei Signale, dass Kim dies auch wirklich zusagen würde.

Gleichzeitig war eine klare Verschärfung der nordkoreanischen Rhetorik zu beobachten: US-Vizepräsident Mike Pence wurde als "dumm", bezeichnet, und Nordkoreas Vizeaußenministerin Choe Son Hui drohte Washington am Mittwoch sogar mit einem "nuklearen Showdown", falls es zu keiner Einigung komme.

Unter solchen Bedingungen macht es natürlich Sinn, das Treffen abzusagen.
